How To Become A Money Magnet – Part One

in Law Of Attraction

“Become used to the fact that being “rich” is your natural state”

This summer I thought I would write a manifesting money post series.  A step by step on how to become a money magnet.

If you are familiar with the Law of Attraction, you know by now that you can literally make money manifest in your life.  However,  knowing this and actually DOING it – make it happen – are two different things, aren’t they?

There is a gap between knowing something, and actually being able realize such thing.  There’s a bit difference between hearing, reading and even believing that you can attract money, and actually attracting it in the form of notes, and bank accounts.

The goal of the post series is to help you narrow such gap or even eliminate it completely.

So, how would you like that?

What’s the Power to Manifest?

You may be thinking, if I have the power to manifest money what don’t I?  If just thinking about money helps manifesting it, why doesn’t it manifest right now? I’ve been wanting and thinking about being rich, what hasn’t it work for me yet?

There are two reasons for this.

1)      The fact that we can’t instantly materialize something just by thinking about it here and there is a protection for us.

Think about it. If you could manifest a $100 dollar bill just by thinking about it for a day or two, you would also be able to manifest all the ugly things that goes through your mind just by thinking about it for a day or two as well.

That wouldn’t be good would it?

We all know that we do think a lot of crazy things at times, so it’s such a blessing that we can’t manifest those instantly.  It’s bad enough that we do manage to manifest negative things after having thought about for a lengthy period of time.

Believe me, the fact that we don’t attract instantly is a huge protection.

2)      There is a formula, so to speak, to attract money or anything else.

Most of us tend to find the formula to attract bad stuff without any problem.  On the other hand, we tend to find it harder to attract the good stuff.

The main reason for this is that we are born and raised into a rather negative environment where we “learn” early on that we are not here to have fun, but to work hard and suffer.  Yes, that’s what most of us learn as we were growing up. Therefore, there’s no surprise that we have a hard time attracting good things such as  money.  We’ve learned how to resist it instead.

Why do we Come to this Three-Dimensional World?

Contrary to what we have been told for ages, we are not born to suffer and be miserable most of our lives. We are not even born to waste our lives in a job that we hate from 9-5 some 300 days a year.  That’s what most of us end up doing, because we are stuck in a rut, but we weren’t born for this.

Our natural state is to be RICH in every way shape or form. The reason we’re not is due to negative feelings of unworthiness, lack mentality, depression, inadequacy and confusion.

Let’s not forget that this world is ALL ENERGY.  We are energy, our thoughts are energy and we attract equivalent energy that manifests in a three-dimensional world in the form of events, people, and, yes, money.  When you send negative energy out with negative feelings such as mentioned above, you consequently bring equal results – three-dimensional results of that same energy.

No matter where we are born, even if it’s a so called “free thinking” country, we are conditioned by the few who have a vested interest in controlling the mass.  If you’ve never watch it yet, I suggest that you watch the movie-documentary Thrive, and you will fully understand what I mean. (It’s over 2 hours, but well worth it).

Remember that we are not born into this three-dimensional world to be controlled by those few.  We are born to take full advantage of the positive energy that surrounds us.  We are a spiritual being in a human body, not the other way around.  We just need to take full advantage of what has been given to us. It’s our birth right.

First Thing Fist – Get Totally Rid of Negative Feelings about Money

Do you know that a very simple and common reason why you don’t have money or just enough to go by is because of the negative feelings you have about money itself?

Now I can hear you from here.  You’re saying, I don’t have any negative feelings towards money!  Well, I bet that you do.  Have you ever said things like…

- I don’t do this for the money.

- Money doesn’t buy happiness.

- Money doesn’t grow on trees.

- I’m content with what I have.

- I don’t want to be rich.

- Rich people are crooks.

- I want to be happy, not rich

- You can’t be wealthy and spiritual at the same time…

Should I go on?

Let’s be honest, most of us have said at least one of the statements above.  Many of us still, have said just about all of them at some point in our life.  And even more of us have heard our parents say such things on a regular basis as we were growing up.

Bottom line, we DO HAVE some negative feelings about money.  Some may be more obvious than others, but there’re there.

The very first thing you need to do in order to attract money – and when I say money I mean the kind of money that you’d like to have to be able to call yourself “financially free” – is getting rid of any negative feelings you have about money, no matter how deep or light they are.

Second Thing – Change your Mind about Money

Having money is not bad. It can never be bad because money is neutral.  It’s what you may do with money if you are greedy or downright bad that could make its use bad, but not money.  Never.

You need to change your mind about money and discover that money is actually GOOD. With money you can do anything. Without money you can’t even allow people to bury you when you’re dead.  The mother of a friend of mine used to say that without money you can’t even buy a pot to pee in.  I love that illustration. Don’t you? (smile).

Money makes you a helper of society.  Your money helps the economy in your town and country.  Your money helps charities and people who need help.  Money makes you a helper rather than someone that needs to be helped.  When you have money it doesn’t only serves you, you serve everyone else around you, near and far.

Understanding the Energy of Money

Nowadays, since we have a much better understanding of quantum physics we know that everything is energy and nothing is as solid as it may appear to be to the naked eye.

As quantum physics explains it, everything is an oscillation of wave energy.  Such waves of energy do take forms when they are “observed”.

This is why if you buy a red corvette, you are going to start noticing a lot of red corvettes out there.  If you are pregnant you are going to start seeing a lot of pregnant women around.  If you have finally found your hot partner, all the hotties are going to keep showing up for while.

Usually such manifestations are making people perplex because they don’t understand the quantum physics explanation behind it.  Those things happen because the energy that you are focusing on is simply manifesting.  It manifests to the degree that you are focusing on.  That’s what we call the Law of Attraction.

Using the natural laws of quantum physics such as the law of attraction, there are three main things you need to understand about manifesting money.

1 – The universe already possesses all the money you will ever want and need.

2 – Focus on the abundance you already have, and be thankful for it daily.

3 – Affirm that you have all the money you want every day using affirmations and visualizations.

Until Next Post

So, this closes the first post of this series on how to become a money magnet.  This is the first and very important step.  Make sure you understand this very well, in order to take full advantage of the next post to come on this series.

In the next post we will be talking about getting in alignment with the abundance of the Universe to be able to manifest money.

YAY!!! GOOD MORNING Sylvaine, this is an awesome timing for a perfect post :D

I have been working a lot on the LOA and manifestations lately, and found that it is so easy to do once you get the hang of it.

Manifesting money is really great, but one thing to always keep in mind as well is that it isn’t always really the money we want but the things money can buy us.

I was stuck thinking about money and lack of it with my car a while back, and when I got unstuck from not having the money, I got a new car, with all the insuarance and everything paid for 1 year, and I never touched a dime to make it all happen! I even got the gas I needed.

once you open up to allowing things to manifest,, things work out whether its with money or the things you think you need money for.
keep up the great work. look forward to the rest of the serries

Hi James and nice to see you back here.

Yes, that’s a good point. We don’t necessarily have to think about the money but what it can buy. True. Especially if we have a block when it comes to money.

In your case, however, as you are saying yourself, you were not thinking about money to buy a car, you were thing about the lack of money to buy your car. Of course, you got what you where thinking (focusing) about which was lack. You just blocked that money to come your way.

Now, when you realized that the money wasn’t coming you decided to concentrate more on the car and less on the money, so you release that block, and were able to materialize the car.

The lesson in this is that when we think “money” we need to make SURE that we don’t concentrate of the “lack of it”, but the “plenty of it”. That’s a huge common problem – people think lack of money, when they think that they’re thinking about money. This is the very reason money doesn’t show up.

Thanks for coming and for your input and hope to see you again for the rest of the series.

I learned the same thing. I had to break free of the focus on lack and let the manifestation happen without trying to force or control how it happened.

I made it and boy am I glad Sylviane! I LOVE this post and this is going to be a terrific series. Just in time for the summer.

Thanks for sharing this with us and you know I always love your explanations. I mean when you said you better be glad we don’t manifest everything we think about quickly because then we’d be stuck with the bad too that really hit home with me. My mind wanders from time to time, not much but it does so if that ended up happening that would be horrible.

I thank God every morning for me being financially free! I don’t ask for money or anything but I thank him every day for all the things I have and all the things I know are on their way. Every single day and haven’t missed a beat in years now. I don’t really do the affirmations anymore because I feel talking to the man upstairs is definitely enough. I read positive scriptures as well and have some sayings hanging over my desk. I thank him throughout the day for watching over me and bringing the right people into my life, etc. It’s made a big difference I can tell.

Looking forward to this series so thanks so much.

Have a great rest of your week and you have fun tonight. Hope Google cooperates.

Hi Adrienne,

Yes, we all have wandering minds sometimes so it’s like a safety belt to not be able to attract what we think instantly.

Well, I think that affirming a certain amount of money that we want to make by a certain date is a good thing. It has nothing to do with praying. Praying is one thing and affirming things so you can make your subconscious believe it is another.

But besides that of course it’s a very good thing to be thankful to God for what you have now and in the future.

Thanks for your visit, Adrienne.

Hi sylviane,
This is a fantastic post. It will help a lot of people to realise that the reason why certain situations arise in their lives is due to their thought process.
It takes a lot of practice, but when done right and focusing on the things we want rather than worrying about the things we don’t, things actually do start going the way we want them to, people come into our lives that can help us reach our goals.
Thanks for a great post, i am looking forward to the next in the series.

Hi Gary,

Well, thank you for your compliment.

If this post can be a starting point to clarify why one is lacking money before they can start applying the right steps to improve their financial situation, then it will have accomplished its purpose.

Thank you for your visit and input here.

Hi Sylviane,

Nicely explained post, and I think these series are something all of us would look forward to, and perhaps something that would keep you busy during your summers :)

You are right – most of us, including me have one or more of those negative feelings about money. We might not think negative about it, but we don’t think we have plenty of it, because there isn’t all that much to talk of it ever. I guess that’s where we go wrong, and to manifest it, we do need to think positively about it as the LOA says. Perhaps it’s being content and happy with what you have, without cribbing for what you don’t – that’s being grateful as you mentioned.

I agree with you, money is never bad and we all do need it. But the way you use it or how you spend is what matters most. But what about those who have too much or none of it – the rich have enough, yet they complain of not having enough – but the money stays with them, while the poor don’t have enough and remain happy with what they have, but they never have any money? How does that work I wonder?

Look forward to learning more through the rest of the series as well. Thanks for sharing this with us :)

Hi Harleena,

Well, to answer your question, money doesn’t MAKE you happy, it just contributes to it.

As some financial freedom coaches say, money is a mirror. If you’re good you’ll be better. If you’re bad you’ll be worse. If you’re unhappy by nature you’ll still be unhappy still. If you are happy by nature you are already happy before you’ll ever have any money.

That’s all there is to it.

The fact that a lot of rich people complain is because they are greedy. But don’t think that very rich people can’t ever lose their money, because they can and some have. Sometimes, if they don’t lose their money with their complaints they lose other things in life, way more valuable than money, so to speak.

I hope this help answer your questions, Harleena.

Thanks for coming :)

Hey Sylviane,

Awesome post! So many key points here.

But it’s true, we have to change our attitude about money. Money is not a bad thing, it’s what we do with it or don’t do with it that can be bad.

But visualization is a key point. If you’re going to attract something you need to visualize it and keep it in focus, not reject it. But like you said, you have to change your attitude first.

Inspiring post Sylviane. Thanks!

Sylviane,

I have heard this so many times but it is so good to hear it again. I really needed to hear this right now. I have really been slacking in this area. I guess this is to say I really need to do more personal development but your posts are great for this and I love them.

When I lived out on my farm I actually used to get out of my car and say out loud or even yell “I am rich”. We lived on about 1200 acres and our nearest neighbor was 2 miles away so I really felt rich when ever I went home. I quit doing that when I moved to where I live now but I need to start again.

This was a really great post and one I really needed to hear right now.

Hi DeeAnn,

Yes, I know that the environment we find ourselves in makes a huge difference when it comes to make us feel rich or not.

This is one of the main reasons I moved two month ago, I needed to upgrade my living environment to keep attracting what I want. Since I moved I feel much richer, and that feeling is very important, indeed.

However, even if you moved in a smaller place, you need to keep that felling you had on that farm alive.

Thank you for sharing this with us :)

Excellent points regarding money. Money is important and it is a commodity for our prosperity.
I believe we need to change our beliefs regarding money, and be content with what we have , but aspire to create wealth.

Hi Gladys,

Yes, money is important, because money means freedom in more ways than some people think. A woman who stays with an abusive man because she knows that she can’t make it financially on her own, for example, is a sad proof that money can bring freedom.

Thank you for coming.

Sylvianne,

Excellent way to describe “money!” Oh BTW I did have to laugh at that statement that without money you won’t have a pot to piss in. I’ve heard that all my life and still laugh when I hear it.

But, money to me is a part of energy. I don’t look at receiving amounts of money when I am manifesting something. Instead, I can visualize what I need at the time. My last visualization was that I wanted 2.5K for my moving truck. I had a few garage sales and sold stuff and received the exact amount.

Then, I needed to hire a “clean out” man to take all the junk and tools out of he garage. In walks a man that would do it for free. Another $400 saved.

I wanted a house by the ocean, but didn’t want to spend all my money on it. I wanted it to be not too large, but I had specific details in my mind. I found the perfect house and spent the money I wanted to spend.

I wanted a certain amount of money for my home I was selling. The realtors thought I was out of my mind. So I sold it myself in 10 days for that exact amount.

All this time, I wasn’t thinking about the prices, but rather what a great experience I will (notice in the present) have by doing all of it. I visualized a sort of friendship from the buyers, and because they live out of town, I have been showing the house to people who want to rent it.

They are new investors, and I sat with them a while teaching them not to put all their eggs in one basket. Now I have those guys buying my other property when I can sell it next year. Just a straight deal with no agents! I visualized that one too.

So, on our journey, we must realize that we always get what we need. Once we have that mindset, everything runs smoothly.

Hi Donna,

Wow, that’s so great. It seems that you’ve got your visualizations just right. Seems that those realtors don’t have a clue about the law of attraction and visualizations, do they? If they did they could make more money :)

That’s what I was telling Adrienne, above, it’s always better to have a specific amount of money in mine. A lot of people underestimate how the Universe loves to give us when we are exact. the Universe is exact. not vague. I’ve got to mention this in my next post.

Hi Sylviane

I just keep forgetting to remind myself that money is only energy and we can make it come our way. I try not to think about getting out of debt, but more of what will happen when life turns around. If it had to be at the rate it is going, well it would take longer than I will be around. So energy is coming to me and things will work out and miracles can happen as I put energy out into the world, energy will comeback. I am grateful that I am better off than others. I may be more in debt than they are, but I also have more resources than they do. So energy is there and I need to direct it to what I can and will do once in a situation that the debt is gone. Having positive energy to do good is getting stronger the longer I am “financially challenged” but it is that I am now so powerfully optimistic that things look differently and I can see some momentum happening.

I try to banish all those negative words on money, so many drummed into our heads when we were little. It is like a cross we are expected to carry. I think it is an excuse for parents not being as successful as they would have liked to have been. It cannot be because they really would rather have nothing more than a humble life. I just don’t believe it. Principles to live by are important but, having money should not get in the way of who a person is.

Hi Mary,

Yes, money is energy and it’s good to be reminded of this always. Money is not just notes that happen to come when we work hard. This is the most common yet the worst belief about money there is. I am glad that you think about money as energy.

Yes, those negative comments about money may have first come from people who couldn’t make money and then it was formulated from generation after generation.

Indeed a great article .. Who says that money can’t buy happiness? When you’ve money you can buy anything you need …when you get the thing you needed you feel happy? . I think the negative feelings on Money are expressed by people who have no passion to earn it nor they have interests in pleasures of life.

Hi Pramod,

Yes, I tend to agree with this. We always hear that money can’t buy happiness but it’s not always true. We should all know this.

If you can buy a trip on a sunny beach island that should bring you some happiness. If you have money to travel and see your far away family more often, then money buys happiness. If you can attend to a health issue because you have the money for it, then money does buy happiness here too here as well. So many more examples out there.

Thank you for bring this out, and thanks for coming.

Hi Sylviane,

Sorry for being late this week. It was a hectic week for me.

Great post Sylviane! I don’t know why we have that negative feeling about money as if money is a curse although money is known to be a blessing. We tend to think that those who want money are greedy but it is a necessity of life and it is a good thing to have and yes it makes us feel happy when we get it, especially after lacking it. Think, for example, about pay day. When I was working, we all used to look forward to the pay day.

I have to admit that I tend to focus on the lack of money and not its abundance and I need to learn to manifest money in a positive way myself.

Thanks Sylviane for a great post and I look forward to the rest of the series. Have yourself a great week ahead.

Be Blessed,

Don’t worry, you’re not late :)

Yes, focusing on lack rather than plenty is very easy and so many of us make this mistake. Unfortunately, such thoughts generates feelings of lack and such feelings attract more lack. That’s why we need to stop such vicious circle.

Thank you for coming and have a great upcoming week!

Hi Syviane,
I think I have a healthy admiration for money. I’ve always had it on a regular basis and periodically I get unexpected “bonuses” out of the blue.. not job related.
Am I grateful…you bet I am..just sharing the way it is.I’m very fortunate but also I worked more than one job most of my career so in a way I’ve earned it…not just luck.
When I did have a job I continued to learn and grow in my career which brought more money.
I’ve practiced visualization for a long time and truly believe in it.
I love a challenge and learning . That desire to learn and grow brought me to the internet…and it has not disappointed.
I think being grateful for what you have is one of the most important things you can do on a daily basis!
Thanks so much for sharing this I’m looking forward to #2.

You share some interesting thoughts in this post, Sylviane. Money, in and of itself, is obviously neither good nor bad – and, as Harleena says, it’s the way you use it that matters – also how you acquire it. Some people have made lots of money but in very evil ways, exploiting other people and doing a lot of harm in the process. But it’s not the money that’s evil – it’s the people who commit terrible crimes in order to line their own pockets.

However, as you quite rightly say, if you do have a lot of money, that gives you the potential to do a lot of good – like Bill Gates. Fabulous wealth brings with it huge responsibilities.

I think the mistake is to see money as an end in itself – as you say, money won’t make you happy – but, as I’ve heard someone else say, at least it enables you to be miserable in comfort! People who say money doesn’t matter are usually those who’ve never known real financial hardship.

I think one of the most important points you make is that we should be thankful for whatever wealth we do possess – like our health, when we’ve got it, we can tend to take money for granted ;)

Hi Sue,

I love your comment. Everything you’re saying is so true! You seem to be a wise woman, lady :)

Those who try to make money while taking advantage of others, or harming others, are evil people, and unfortunately our world’s got quite of few of those, but it’s not the money that makes them evil, as you’re saying, it’s that they are evil.

I love that saying “money at least allows you to be miserable in comfort.” Imagine that you’re sick but can’t take care of yourself because you don’t have any money? Better be sick with the money right?

Even for those that want to call money evil, well, it’s a necessary evil. So much so that most people on the planet spend their whole life making it. So, yes, whoever says money is not important doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

Thanks for sharing your very interesting thoughts.

Hey Sylviane,

I have noticed within the past couple of years how people stay where they are financially, and how i’ve grown financially. You’re definitely right when it comes to the mindset and your focus.

Words may seem of little important to most, but it gives you an underlying description of what the person is thinking. It’s funny how i never really notice this before, but it’s really apparent now. I like the example you give about oscillation of wave energy. This is soooo true.. I bought a 2012 Hyndai Sonata last year and I’ve notice more of them on the street. It’s funny how that works!

So in all, what’s important is what you focus on. It comes out in your actions and what you say! Thoughts are things! Thanks for sharing Sylviane!

Hi Sylviane,

I have recently attended a workshop that also covers the idea of manifesting the money that we desire. Indeed, getting rid of the negative meanings and feelings associated with money is crucial..

I also realized through various workshops that we must be in the state of flow before money can come to us easily. Relating to network marketing, this means that we do not spend our time and energy arguing with someone who may not appreciate the products or business opportunity that we share. Let go of the outcome. Success is easy as long as we are doing the right tasks and have the right skills.

Hi Viola, and always nice to see you here.

I think that money flow mentality is one of the least understood facet of money. We tend to cling on it, always being afraid that it will go away, and feel so frustrated if someone can’t seem to appreciate how good our product is.

You are totally right. All the above need to be eliminated in order to allow money flow to us.

Thanks for your input, and have a great weekend!

The time delay serves us so that we can get exactly what it is that we want without getting the things that we don’t want all we have to do is focus on what we want the most.
